WAX / SUGARING:

How long should my hair be before a wax / sugar? —

2-4 weeks of hair growth / the length of a long grain of rice. The longer the better!

Can I get waxed/ sugared on my period? —

YES! There is no problem getting waxed on your time of the month, you may be more sensitive but as long as you have a clean tampon in we are good to go!

Should I trim before my appointment? —-

NOPE! The longer the better, if I need to trim I will do so.

How painful is it to get waxed / sugared? —

Getting waxed / sugared can be scarier in our heads. Pain tolerance varies from person to person but I do my best to make the experience as pleasant and painless as possible :)

How often is maintenance for waxing / sugaring? —

Typically 4-6 weeks depending on how fast your hair growth is.

How should I prepare for my appointment? —

Shower and exfoliate! Make sure the area of treatment is fresh and clean.

Avoid drinking caffiene. (This can heighten sensitivity)

What is the after care of a wax / sugar? —

First thing is to make sure the area stays clean. No gyms, pools, saunas, sex, tight clothing for 24 hrs after the appointment. 2-3 Days after wax / sugar start exfoliating with a clean washcloth, and use Fur Oil. Doing so will help prevent in-growns.

Aftercare is key to keeping your freshly waxed / sugared area as in-grown free as possible. Exfoliate and use Fur Oil regularly to keep your skin hydrated. Doing so also prevents hair breakage during the appointment resulting in the best results every visit.

DERMAPLANING & MORE

Can I wear makeup after a dermaplane?—

No. The skin is more delicate than usual after dermaplaning which can make it more irritable. Give your skin about a 24 hour break before applying makeup.

Does the Lash Lift procedure hurt?—

Nope! The procedure is painless. You will have your eyes closed for the entire treatment and although it may feel strange being unable to open your eyes for this time, it offers you a chance to relax during the treatment.
